Get a smooth start to your new career in electrolysis and laser hair removal! With consumer interest in permanent hair removal as well as related skincare treatments expected to grow at a healthy rate for years to come, now is a great time to get trained in these services.
In this cutting-edge program, you’ll learn the use and maintenance of hair removal devices, equipment, and supplies. You’ll also learn skin and hair anatomy and how to choose the right treatment parameters.
For ultimate flexibility, you can choose between two different tracks in our Electrology department.
Celebrity School of Beauty offers two different tracks of electrolysis training, depending on what you’re looking for:
Our 320-hour Electrolysis program covers essential and latest advances in electrology, the only FDA-recognized method for permanent hair removal, along with laser and light-based hair removal. Electrology treatment for hair removal is similar to laser therapy but is more versatile as it allows you to treat a broader range of hair and skin types. You’ll learn the fundamentals of pre- and post-hair removal treatment protocols and get hands-on practice on industry equipment.
The 650-hour Electrolysis & Laser Technician program builds on all the training offered by the Electrolysis program but goes much further, with comprehensive training in electrolysis and laser hair removal techniques as well as advanced skincare treatments. In this comprehensive program, we teach you the fundamentals of skincare, including skin therapies and analysis, anti-aging protocols, and facial treatments.
Graduates of the 650-hour Electrolysis & Laser Technician program can apply for both a Facial Specialist registration and Electrologist license from the state of Florida. More training for this dual license means more skills, which can turn into more job opportunities.
Our custom-built flagship Miami campus debuted in 2022 and has been called a “work of art.” Every detail of this 16,000-square-foot facility reflects both discerning taste and experience in creating a thoughtful, beautiful environment for education.
Our electrolysis & laser hair removal programs cover both essentials of hair removal as well as the extras you’ll need to be a successful beauty specialist.
You’ll be up to speed on the latest advances in permanent hair removal. And those that opt for the 650-hour program gain esthetician training that includes skincare and aesthetic equipment knowledge. Plus, with Celebrity School of Beauty’s partnership with the Dermalogica® premium brand of skincare products, you train to get certified using professional products.
Our carefully designed curriculum combines lectures and practical experience to teach temporary and permanent hair removal techniques. Because specialized equipment such as laser and light-based epilators are crucial to these hair removal techniques, you will become familiar with operating them safely and effectively.
For students on the dual-license Electrology & Laser Technician track, you’ll also learn procedures that you’ll use as a facialist, including skincare treatments and products. To learn how to operate aesthetic devices as you might in a medspa, you’ll get hands-on practice under the guidance of our instructors, all of whom have practical industry experience.
Whether you choose our 320-hour Electrology program or pursue additional skills with our 650-hour Electrology & Laser Technician program, your training at Celebrity will prepare you for many potential career paths in the quickly growing field of beauty services.
The Electrolysis 320-hour program will prepare you to be a permanent hair removal professional specializing in removing hair using different techniques, including thermolysis, galvanic electrolysis, the blend method, laser, or intense pulsed light (IPL) systems. Our Electrology students learn a great deal in a short amount of time, allowing them to get licensed and into a new job at an electrolysis facility.
Graduates from our Electrology & Laser Hair Removal Technician 650-hour program have deeper training and therefore more career possibilities. In addition to specializing in electrolysis or laser tech procedures for hair removal, you’ll gain skills that can qualify you for esthetician jobs that require skincare knowledge and facial treatment expertise. The in-depth training on skincare techniques, products, and aesthetic devices mean that you can be in a position to land sought-after jobs at paramedical or medical establishments such as medspas, cosmetic surgery clinics, or dermatologists’ offices.
I want to go to beauty school, but I don’t know how I’ll be able to afford it.
