The electrolysis and laser technician course available at Celebrity School of Beauty will prepare you to embark on your path into the multi-billion dollar beauty industry.
The program is divided into two sections.
The 320-hour program teaches you everything about becoming a certified electrologist. You will learn electrolysis and all the fundamentals of electrolysis hair removal.
Most importantly, you will benefit from hands-on experience using the latest equipment in the industry.
If that’s not enough for you, why not try our dual licensing program?
It comprises a 650-hour program, which offers you to become an expert in electrolysis and laser therapy. Besides becoming an expert in laser hair removal therapy, you will also learn all the fundamentals of skin treatment, facial treatment, and anti-aging.
Electrolysis 320-hour Program covers essential and latest advances in Electrology, the only FDA recognized method for permanent hair removal, along with laser and light-based hair removal. You’ll learn the fundamentals of pre- and post-hair removal treatment protocols and get hands-on practice on industry equipment.
Electrolysis & Laser Technician 650-hour Program offers a dual licensing opportunity with comprehensive training in electrolysis, laser hair removal techniques (photoepilation), along with fundamentals of skincare including skin therapies and analysis, anti-aging protocols, and facial treatments. We’ll also cover some of the latest advances in skincare products and aesthetic equipment through a successful Dermalogica® partnership. Graduates can apply for dual licensing in Florida as a Facial Specialist and Electrologist. Translation? More training, more skills – more opportunities!
You’ll experience personalized one-on-one support from our team of qualified instructors and complimentary review sessions to help you prepare for the state licensure exam.
We’ve got you covered there too! Because our curriculum includes training in the business fundamentals, from putting together a business plan and marketing strategies, to launching and managing your own practice, you’ll be learning all of the above!
Theory classes are combined with practical experience. What does that mean for you? More hands-on practice, more learning, and more opportunities to take your career to the next level!
The more skills you gain, the more career opportunities you will have. But what else besides an electrologist and laser hair removal technician can you practice?
The electrolysis-only course will also make you a capable photoepilation specialist who removes hair using intense pulsed light (IPL) systems. This treatment is similar to laser therapy but is more versatile as it allows you to treat a broader range of hair and skin types. On the other hand, if you graduate from our dual license program, you will enjoy more significant benefits when choosing a career path.
You can work as a paramedical or medical esthetician, performing medical skin treatments on patients. In addition, you will also consult patients and clients about skincare, promoting cosmetic product manufacturers for a commission.
But why stop there when you can also have lessons in applying makeup and become a makeup artist while learning face and body wax techniques?
As you can see, there are endless opportunities for choosing your ideal career path as a cosmetologist. If you’re wondering how much you can earn, then know that an average medical esthetician’s salary is around $50.000 a year. Pair that with being a skin care consultant, and you will easily double your income.
Why wait? Enroll now and become a successful electrolysis and laser therapy expert!
