The administration will also make available to students a list of local professional agencies who offer counseling and other professional services for those needing occasional or on-going therapy.
Students are expected to attend all scheduled classes. In order to obtain permission for an excused absence, you must obtain permission from your instructor.
Students must come to class on time. The State of Florida requires students complete a set number of hours to graduate therefore, all class time missed must be made up by the student (prior to graduation).
A Student may be granted a leave of absence for a reasonable amount of time as determined by the Academic Director. The total leave of absence period may not exceed 180 days. A request for a leave of absence must be in writing and the date of expected return must be specified. If a Student does not return within the specified return date and did not notify the School, the Student’s contract will be terminated on the date of the documented return date.
Manicure, Pedicure & Nail Extensions, Skin Care, Full Specialist, Spa Therapy, Massage Therapy and Makeup Artistry students receive one progress report at the midpoint of the program, respectively. Cosmetology and Barber students receive two progress reports: one at 450 hours and at 900 hours. Note: Hours are based on scheduled hours.
Students are expected to conduct themselves in a professional manner at all times. A student who conducts himself/herself in an inappropriate manner to the school, staff or other students may be terminated. Theft of property from the school or other student is grounds for immediate dismissal.
The student agrees and is responsible to attend classes as scheduled and to abide by the published rules and regulations of the school. The student understands that his/her failure to do so may result in his/her immediate suspension or termination at the option of the school. The student understands and agrees that the school will not be responsible for providing any portion of his/her program of instruction remaining incomplete after a dismissal.
